It is officially announced that Magadheera is to be made in Hindi and Ranbir Kapoor will play the dual roles played by Ram Charan Teja in the original Telugu version. The producer of Ghajini, Madhu Mantena will produce this Hindi version and the original version filmmaker SS Rajamouli is wielding megaphone for the remake version as well.
Ranbir Kapoor will play dual roles of a warrior during Mughal Empire and other one as a present-age lad. The film revolves around a warrior assigned to protect the princess of Mughal Kingdom, but is killed by his enemies. Nearly after 400 years, the warrior is reborn as a youngster in Mumbai and is surprised to witness the princess and his enemies have also reincarnated that leaves them to settle scores again.
