PAATHSHAALA and the dilemma of education and its commercialization
Suddenly education has become focused in the political agenda of the country. The issue that is being given thought to is, whether it should also evolve as a business or it should continue to serve its idealistic goal of spreading the quest for knowledge. The struggle between idealism and commercialism is at the core of the struggle in PATHSHAALA as well, two extremes in the film represented by Shahid Kapoor and Nana Patekar
