Manoj Kumar is said to be upset with Sajid Khan.
After being upset with Farah Khan for making fun of him in her film Om Shanti Om, producer-director-actor of yester years Manoj Kumar is now said to be also upset with her brother Sajid Khan.
Manoj is said to be upset with a scene in Sajid’s next directorial venture Houseful,, where Ritesh Deshmukh has mimicked him. An angry Manoj Kumar, while reacting to this scene said, “This is happening time and again and you can’t allow people to attack your integrity in this manner. I have spoken to my solicitor and he will now take them to task with regard to this scene.”
It may be recalled that Manoj was very upset with Farah over a scene in her film Om Shanti Om and apart from taking her to court, he had even tried to stop the film from being shown on Television. Manoj had only withdrawn his appeal in the court asking it to ban the film from being telecast on Television when Shahrukh Khan personally intervened in the matter and spoke to him about the issue.
Manoj said that he had forgotten and forgiven in the case of Om Shanti Om because Shahrukh had behaved very well with him and apologized for what happened.
But Manoj is in no such mood this time around as he says, “Sajid probably wants to prove that he will succeed where his sister Farah and Shah Rukh failed. But I won’t allow that to happen. I’m angry with that sweet boy Riteish too because he is part of the spoof.”
Manoj says that though he is not adverse to mimicry, something that hurts the sentiments of people is not good.
Interestingly, while Manoj is said to be very upset with Sajd making fun of him and is thinking of taking him to court, sources close to the director of Housefull say that the charges made by Manoj are baseless and the scene that has offended the veteran actor actually does not exist in the film.
